Traffic and DUI Law

Traffic laws are the laws which regulate vehicles and other traffic including pedestrians, animals and other conveyances. Traffic laws and regulations vary from place to place. In many countries, the rules of the road are codified, setting out the legal requirements and punishments for breaking them.

Any person convicted of DUI faces up to one year in prison and is subject to pay a fine of up to $2,500. For a second conviction within five years of the previous violation, the offender must serve a mandatory minimum of 5 days in prison or 240 hours of community service.
